Xiaomi has launched Mi VR Play Headset on 11th of December on Facebook as well as on other social media sites channels like YouTube and Xiaomi Mi Live app. Mi VR Play headset is the first VR headset of the company and the price of this Mi VR Play is Rs 999. It will go sale from 21st of December. The headset of Google Cardboard is very compatible and will provide an immense experience to the people who will use it.

One interesting thing about this headset is that the headset is a unique two-way zipper design with the entire thing made up of lightweight Lycra. The company has also included one special feature on this headset is that they have used anti-reflective lenses for this headset to ensure that the Mi VR Play provides clear images through aspherical lenses. Else the headset includes one metal button for the interaction

According to Xiaomi, Mi VR Play will support all the smartphones ranging from 4.7-inch to 5.7-inches. As defined in the Livestream and later on the website, Mi VR Play headset is the easiest way to experience the theater or cinema experience with the compatible smartphones and headphones.

In addition to the normal VR apps from third party developers, people can scan the QR code to download the Google cupboard app and then use the app along with the Cardboard Camera app to experience the new VR content until the time of Google daydream comes  to budget smartphones. There are some interesting apps that you can experience that includes YouTube VR app for 360-degree video content almost a host of games like VR Theatre.

The new Mi Live app has been also launched by Xiaomi, a new live streaming app which will use content sourced from the local content creators. The content creators will get the chance to showcase their talent to the Mi Live app users. Mi Live user will also support the VR content with the help of Mi VR Play headset. The company announced that the app will go online in India as well as China from Today only. Xiaomi also bragged that Mi Live is the only streaming app in all over the India to support VR live streaming VR Live streaming. Currently only the Android app is on the Google play Store, there was no announcement for the iOS version of the app till now.
